BIOGRAPHY

Dominic learnt piano from the age of 4 and was trained as a classical pianist.  He learnt church organ for 2 years before joining a rock band.  He formed his own dance band when he was 16 years old and they played the working men's clubs, caravan parks, pubs and hotels in the south of England clocking up over 50 gigs playing everything from disco classics, rock and roll, pop classics and the full range of dance tunes from foxtrot, quickstep to the St Bernards and the Valeta.  He studied law at University College London and led the faculty's revue band for 2 years in a row.  He played in a funk/soul band playing at famous venues such as Dingwalls, The Mean Fiddler and The Half Moon Putney in London.   He has been composing for film, television and new media for the last 20 years and has credits on BBC1, BBC2, ITV, Channel 4 and Sky. 

 

He moved south to near Southampton and formed a jazz band called The Jazzoholics and held residencies at The Lainston House Hotel, Sparsholt, The Harbour Lights Cinema,  Wickham Vineyard, Bishops Waltham Wine Bar, Banks Restaurant, Bishops Waltham, The Olive Tree, Southampton and Olivios in Port Solent.   Since the age of 14 he has been composing beautiful romantic piano music.   He owns and maintains a meditation web site (www.meditatia.com) and has released 16 meditation and jazz albums available on I Tunes , Amazon, Spotify and the usual digital channels.
