The Moon Suite

The Moon Suite was an album that came out of an extraordinary concert in Wells Cathedral.  Luke Jerram's art installation "Museum of the Moon" was erected in the central nave of the cathedral for 2 weeks and Dominic Beeton was commissioned to write a piece to celebrate this wonderful event. The album highlights the features of the moon with its lakes, seas and mountains all with gloriously poetic names.  The album features Karen Eames on vocals, Ian Close on saxophones and Sarah Palmer on bass recorder, bansuri flute and flute.   Dominic plays synthesisers, piano, shruti box, harmonium, bell tree, tingcha and reverie harp.
